BIO

Born and raised on the Northside of Omaha, Nebraska—a segregated and super volatile community—RayShawn Abram, aka Rah Montana, is a reflection of his environment. Although his upbringing consisted of numerous academic accolades—even awarding him an academic scholarship to Arizona State University—it wasn’t long before he began applying his intellectual abilities into the streets...primarily, the drug trade. With his younger brother, Tieres Abram, aka DB, having a superb rapping talent, Rah followed in his footsteps and picked up the craft, then poured finances into creating a record label (Dirty Money) and produced the duo’s first project together—DB and Rah-Rah, The Talk of The Streetz. Unfortunately though, the day after releasing their project, DB was found dead in the asement of his residence. Due to having multiple conflicts with rival gangs, Rah had no idea who was responsible for his brother’s death.... All he knew was that the ex-girlfriend of his brother had set him up. And so, with no one else being available to rain havoc on, he sought the woman. She would end up being kidnapped by his cousin and delivered to him in a wooded area where he shot her repeatedly... but somehow she survived. Her survival, along with the cousin not being able to swallow the life sentence that came along with his kidnapping charge, lead to Rah being convicted of conspiracy to murder, attempted murder, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and witness tampering, resulting in him receiving a 130 year prison sentence. But God! ...Due to a clerical error in one of his jury instructions, his convictions were overturned and his case was remanded back to the district court for a new trial. However, due to the cousin receiving a time reduction for his participation in the first trial, the state could no longer offer him a time reduction for the second proceedings, meaning that he no longer had an incentive to testify, leaving the state with a weak case. Still fearing the “what if” possibility of losing trial and reaping the same results, Rah ended up accepting a plea deal for 25 years. After serving 12 years, he finally set foot outside of the prison gates and is now back chasing the purpose that God has for him. Upon his release, to pay homage to DB, he picked the music torch back up and released an album titled Yard Talk, which is available on all streaming platforms. He also established a company titled E’rybody Eat—a cooperative economics platform that is aimed to shift the mindsets of those engulfed in the distorted culture that he comes from, as well as provide them with adequate resources to obtain financial freedom without taking penitentiary chances. And last but not least, he wisely utilized his time to write a book series—A Buck Thirty—entailing the details that lead to and through his predicament. It would be very wise of you to tap in!

First off shout out to my guy Rah-Rah !! An interesting man from the day we met thru being friends with my brother. Knowing where you were and how you were living 15 years ago, is truly amazing to witness the change and growth .. I know it was a path that most would've folded on, and that's the part of you that's always remained the same, you NEVER FOLD !! I admire the work, the change, the growth, the willpower, the dedication, determination, and discipline ...💪💪

For anyone looking for a good read, and are interested in a REAL STORY about the life and times of what it's like to go thru just about everything you can think of .. this is it! I won't spoil the details, but it's a thriller for sure .. I'm not completely done, as I'm not a reader .. but I'm in it, and the pure transparency keeps me flipping the page .. to be able to tell a story that most don't get a chance to live to tell, it's
